The Wonder is a Parisian indie rock band composed of Australian Matt Davis, three french guys -

Nico Defeudis on guitar, Alexandre Gontard on bass, Laurent Baron on drums, and a Dutch girl, Milan Zuidema on keys and backing vocals.

The band released their debut album ‘Love’ in May 2019. Recorded and mixed by Nick Huggins (Dirty Three, Jen Cloher) and released by Ditto France, the album has received universal praise.

Since the release, The Wonder have played shows in Paris, Europe and Australia with bands like

Spiral Stairs,

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever,

Mild Orange and Youth Group.

The band will soon return to the stage: they open for Pavement at Le Grand Rex on October 27, 2022.
